For my most recent UX Case Study exercise I chose to tackle what an app would look like for one of my favourite upcoming platforms--Spotify's
FREQUENCY.
FREQUENCY is a Spotify-affiliated platform dedicated to showcasing black artists in an industry where they often go overlooked and under-served. The platform spotlights Black talent across the diaspora via social media (Instagram, Twitter, Threads, TikTok etc.) and my goal with this was to develop a concept app to house the platform, while retaining its well-developed visual identity and style.
For insight into my design process, including:
• An identification of the problem space FREQUENCY occupies and the app's value proposition
• Development of brand guidelines
• Competitive analyses/heuristic evaluations
• Exploration of design principles
• High Fidelity prototype screens
...and other considerations, you can can find my
